Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher required.
• Completion of 60 credit hours of higher education as defined by the institution.
• Pass the ParaPro assessment (or equivalent).
• No certificates or licenses required.
• Ability to read and interpret general business materials.
• Demonstrated ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with students and families.
• Clear spoken and written communication.
• Basic math operations and data interpretation.
• Ability to solve problems and interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily lesson plans under supervision.
• Provide individual and small group instruction.
• Assist with attendance monitoring and parent communication.
• Attend planning sessions with teachers and supervisor.
• Complete daily logs documenting caseload hours and communications.
• Attend articulation meetings and professional development.
• Be available for afternoon and evening parent conferences.
• Maintain exemplary attendance and punctuality.
• Other duties as assigned.
