Job summary

ACCEL Schools seeks a Virtual Special Education Teacher to support students with IEPs in an online setting. You will implement IEPs, write plans, and collaborate with MTSS, teachers, and parents to promote compliant educational outcomes.

The role is full-time exempt with occasional local travel for state testing and events; salary ranges $45,000–$55,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred and state licensure required where applicable.
• Three years teaching experience, with focus in special education preferred.
• Proficiency with educational software and data systems (PowerSchool, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assist with IEP implementation and writing.
• Participate in MTSS and collaborate with families and staff.
• Maintain student records and documentation according to laws.
• Prepare progress reports and assessments as directed.
• Teach all subjects per course of study and schedule IEP meetings.
• Administer assessments and support testing processes.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Engage in professional development.
