Job summary

Accelschools is hiring a Virtual Special Education Teacher to support students' educational goals in a tuition-free online environment. This role involves implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), writing reports, and working closely with students and families.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s Degree and have a current state certification, preferably with three years of teaching experience, including special education. The position may require occasional travel for in-person events.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Current State certification/licensure in the appropriate area.
• Three years of teaching experience, at least 2 in special education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with IEP implementation for each student.
• Write IEPs in a timely manner.
• Administer Transition Assessments.
