Job summary

ACCEL Schools LLC seeks a Virtual Special Education Teacher for Oklahoma residents. The role focuses on implementing IEPs, MTSS participation, and maintaining confidential student records. Instruction occurs virtually with periodic in-person state testing events.

Travel for testing and events is required several times per year. Candidates should hold state certification in special education and have strong data analysis skills and collaboration abilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred.
• Current state certification/licensure in special education is required.
• Three years of teaching experience, at least 2 in special education preferred.
• Strong content knowledge in one or more subject areas.
• Familiarity with MTSS processes and state proficiency testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of the IEP for each student.
• Write IEPs in a timely manner.
• Participate in MTSS and maintain student records per mandated standards.
• Complete paperwork within timelines to ensure compliance.
• Administer transitions assessments and progress reports.
• Teach all subjects following the school’s course of study or as assigned.
• Schedule and participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with parents and staff.
