Job summary

Stride K12 is seeking an ESE Coordinator to provide individualized instruction to students with disabilities under IEPs. The role requires collaboration with families, teachers, administrators, and service providers to foster academic and social-emotional growth in a virtual setting.

Qualified candidates have a valid Special Education teaching license, knowledge of IEPs, and strong communication skills. Compensation is $47,500 annually, with the position open to residents nationwide.

Qualifications

• Valid state teaching license/certification in Special Education or eligible for certification.
• Knowledge of IEP development, special education regulations, differentiated instruction, and evidence-based teaching practices.
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and classroom-management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and families.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized instructional plans based on IEP goals, strengths, needs, and learning styles.
• Provide specialized instruction with accommodations, modifications, and interventions.
• Monitor and document student progress toward academic, behavioral, and functional goals.
• Maintain accurate IEP documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion and student success.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
