Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking an ESE Coordinator to provide individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities under IEPs in a virtual environment.

You will collaborate with families, general education teachers, and related service providers to promote academic achievement and social-emotional development. Qualified candidates will hold a valid Special Education teaching license/certification and have knowledge of IEP development and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Valid state teaching license/certification in Special Education, or eligibility for certification.
• Knowledge of IEP development, special education regulations, differentiated instruction, and evidence-based teaching practices.
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and classroom-management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and families.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning, behavioral, developmental, and/or emotional needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized instructional plans based on students' IEP goals, strengths, needs, and learning styles.
• Provide specialized instruction and appropriate accommodations, modifications, and interventions.
• Monitor and document student progress toward academic, behavioral, and functional goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely IEP documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion and student success in the least restrictive environment.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and guardians regarding student progress and educational needs.
• Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Use research-based instructional strategies and appropriate assistive technology to support diverse learners.
• Address behavioral and social-emotional needs using positive behavior supports and appropriate intervention strategies.
• Work with school counselors, psychologists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other specialists as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with federal, state, and local special education laws, regulations, and school policies.
• Participate in professional development and ongoing training related to special education practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by school administration.
