Stride, Inc. is seeking an ESE Coordinator to provide individualized instruction to students with disabilities under IEPs, collaborating with families, general education teachers, and related service providers to promote academic and social-emotional development.

The role requires a valid Special Education license, endorsement, and a commitment to inclusive practices. The position is remote and open to residents nationwide, with compensation around $47,500 annually.

Qualifications

• Valid state teaching license/certification in Special Education, or eligibility.
• Knowledge of IEP development, special education regulations, differentiated instruction, and evidence-based teaching practices.
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and classroom-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized instructional plans based on students' IEP goals, strengths, needs, and learning styles.
• Provide specialized instruction and appropriate accommodations, modifications, and interventions.
• Monitor and document student progress toward academic, behavioral, and functional goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely IEP documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion and student success in the least restrictive environment.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and guardians regarding student progress and educational needs.
• Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Use research-based instructional strategies and appropriate assistive technology to support diverse learners.
• Address behavioral and social-emotional needs using positive behavior supports and appropriate intervention strategies.
