Job summary

Stride K12 is seeking an ESE Coordinator to provide individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities under IEPs, collaborating with families, teachers, and specialists in a virtual setting across the United States.

The role requires a valid Special Education license, knowledge of IEP processes, and strong communication skills to monitor progress and maintain documentation. A flexible, inclusive classroom environment is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Valid state teaching license/certification in Special Education, or eligibility for certification.
• Knowledge of IEP development, special education regulations, differentiated instruction, and evidence-based teaching practices.
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and classroom-management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and families.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning, behavioral, developmental, and/or emotional needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized instructional plans based on students' IEP goals, strengths, needs, and learning styles.
• Provide specialized instruction and appropriate accommodations, modifications, and interventions.
• Monitor and document student progress toward academic, behavioral, and functional goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely IEP documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion and student success in the least restrictive environment.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and guardians regarding student progress and educational needs.
