CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Telehealth Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality remote nursing care via phone and video, coordinating with patients and care teams across diverse locations. The Virtual RN uses evidence-based protocols to educate, triage, and facilitate timely access to services.

The role emphasizes comprehensive virtual assessments, care planning, patient education, and meticulous documentation while adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a formal Registered Nurse program.
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical RN experience in an acute care or ambulatory care setting.
• Bachelor's Of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred on hire.
• Previous triage experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive virtual nursing assessments via telephonic and secure video interactions.
• Apply the nursing process to develop patient-centered plans of care and determine urgency/disposition.
• Educate patients on self-management, red-flag indicators, and at-home care.
• Provide medication management guidance and OTC recommendations per protocols.
• Communicate lab/diagnostic results to patients and address questions.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and other systems.
