Qualifications

Role Description

This part-time remote Registered Nurse role focuses on providing high-quality patient care and clinical support through virtual channels. The nurse will conduct telehealth assessments, review patient histories, evaluate symptoms, and provide evidence-based guidance and education. Daily tasks include care coordination with interdisciplinary teams, documentation of encounters in electronic health records, medication and treatment adherence support, and follow-up on care plans and test results. The nurse will also triage patient concerns, elevate urgent issues according to clinical protocols, and contribute to the development of patient education materials and quality improvement initiatives. Consistent communication, professional judgment, and adherence to clinical and regulatory standards are central to the role.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state(s) and eligibility to provide remote/telehealth services.
• Strong clinical assessment skills, including patient triage, care planning, and monitoring of chronic and acute conditions.
• Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs), telehealth platforms, and basic digital tools needed for remote care.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain medical information clearly and empathetically.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple patients or tasks.
• Knowledge of relevant clinical guidelines, privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA), and patient safety standards.
• Prior experience in outpatient, primary care, telehealth, or case management nursing is preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (ASN/BSN); advanced certifications in telehealth, case management, or specialty areas are a plus.
