Job summary

Wylander is seeking a Project Estimator in Elyria, OH. This office-based role builds reconstruction estimates from virtual images using Xactimate for both residential and commercial projects, with no site visits.

You will work with insurance carriers and project teams to define scope and timelines. Requirements include 4+ years in estimation, strong construction background, residential experience, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of estimating experience in restoration or construction.
• Strong construction background and ability to discuss with insurance reps.
• Residential reconstruction estimating experience essential.
• Proficient with Xactimate for accurate estimates.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Use Xactimate to prepare estimates for residential/commercial restoration projects from virtual images.
• Review photos, measurements and docs to define scope and request missing info.
• Submit final scopes and invoicing docs to insurance carriers.
• Handle estimating inquiries and provide technical support to the team.
• Submit accurate estimates timely per company requirements.
• Maintain communications with project teams, clients, adjusters and claims reps.
