Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of Registered Dietitians to deliver expert virtual nutrition care for midlife and menopausal transitions. You will set your own schedule while collaborating with a multi-specialty team, providing evidence-based nutrition therapy to patients through synchronous video visits.

You will manage multi-week programs, document thoroughly, and maintain HIPAA-compliant practices, all within a flexible 1099 independent contractor setup that supports professional

Qualifications

• National certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) by the CDR with a license to practice in any US state.
• Candidates licensed in multiple states encouraged to apply.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and EMR.
• Strong clinical independence and exceptional communication skills with a collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for patients in midlife and menopausal transitions.
• Collaborate within a multi-specialty care team to ensure a cohesive care plan that drives patient outcomes.
• Partner with patients over a multi-week program format to facilitate sustainable lifestyle changes.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, bone health, and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for visits conducted through the Pomelo platform.
