Pomelo Care is a leading virtual medical practice for women and children, delivering care across pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, menopause, and perimenopause. We expand our network of registered dietitians to provide evidence-based nutrition care for midlife and menopausal transitions via telehealth.

This 1099 contractor role offers total scheduling flexibility and collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team, with AI documentation tools.

Qualifications

• National certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and electronic medical records (EMR).
• Strong clinical independence and exceptional communication skills, with a collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for patients experiencing midlife and menopausal transitions.
• Collaborate within a multi-specialty care team—including the patient's dedicated medical provider and therapist—to ensure a cohesive, holistic care plan that drives superior patient outcomes.
• Partner with patients over a multi-week program format to facilitate sustainable lifestyle changes, manage symptoms, and enhance overall well-being.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, body composition changes, bone health, and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for all visits conducted through the Pomelo platform.
