Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of Registered Dietitians to deliver compassionate virtual care for midlife and menopause transitions. As a 1099 independent contractor, you will conduct one-on-one nutrition visits, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and tailor multi-week programs to help patients improve metabolic health and overall well‑being.

You will control your schedule, receive onboarding bonuses, and benefit from AI-assisted charting while delivering evidence-based nutrition

Qualifications

• National certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or RD/N by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) with a license to practice in any US state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for patients experiencing midlife and menopausal transitions.
• Collaborate within a multi-specialty care team to ensure a cohesive, holistic care plan that drives superior patient outcomes.
• Partner with patients over a multi-week program format to facilitate sustainable lifestyle changes, manage symptoms, and enhance overall well-being.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, body composition changes, bone health, and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for all visits conducted through the Pomelo platform.
