Job summary

Lipscomb University seeks a skilled Mullican Studio & Volume Wall Manager to operate a high-end LED volume studio and manage weekly student equipment reservations. You will configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot real-time rendering workflows, while coordinating client needs with VFX teams and directors.

This full-time role requires strong technical aptitude, excellent communication, and the ability to train students in virtual production practices on a university campus in Nashville.

Qualifications

• 2+ years with LED volumes or real-time rendering in production is ideal but not required.
• Strong client-facing and troubleshooting skills in fast-paced environments.
• Bachelor’s or higher in film/video production or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate a virtual production studio with LED volume wall technology.
• Coordinate studio bookings, client interaction and pre-production planning.
• Calibrate LED walls, test displays, and oversee video processors and software.
• Troubleshoot live productions, align virtual backgrounds with sets, and monitor latency.
