Virtual Office – Class Action Attorney (Remote)

Fisher Phillips, one of the oldest and largest labor and employment law firms representing management, has an opportunity for experienced employment attorneys with more than seven years of experience, including significant class action experience, to join our team as Counsel or Special Counsel in our Virtual Office. Preferred qualifications include law firm experience and California or Washington bar admission.

This mostly remote role will focus on sophisticated employment litigation, with an emphasis on class and representative actions. Working closely with established class action partners, you will handle matters directly, supervise others, and develop case strategies while managing matters through all phases of litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement case strategy
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive work product

Qualifications

• More than seven years of employment litigation experience
• Significant experience defending employers in class and representative actions, particularly wage and hour matters
• Experience handling all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, and trial preparation
• Experience with employment disputes involving discrimination, wrongful termination, restrictive covenants, and other workplace issues
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active bar membership in good standing
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
• Experience advising clients on day-to-day employment law matters is preferred
• California or Washington bar admission is preferred

You will benefit from the support of paralegals and a shared secretarial pool within our Virtual Office. There may be some travel, primarily local, involved with this role.
