Job summary

The Clayton County Public Schools CLAYTON VIRTUAL LEARNING PROGRAM - Hampton, Georgia is seeking a Virtual Learning Support Specialist to coordinate virtual instruction and manage the VLP's digital presence. The VLSS will support educational content delivery, collaborate with teachers, and oversee LMS usage and media content.

Responsibilities include designing digital lessons, creating media content, troubleshooting website/app issues, and coordinating with vendors and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, or related field required.
• Minimum of three years of teaching experience required.
• GaPSC certification at level-4 or higher; Google Certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and collaborates with VLP teachers to design effective synchronous and asynchronous lessons using web conferencing and interactive instructional tools.
• Digitize and enhance traditional instructional strategies in the virtual learning environment.
• Employ best practices for digital course design to optimize end user experience using LMS tools.
• Creates, leads, and manages digital, print, and social media content including writing, graphics, and video.
• Leads creative teams to select the appropriate media for projects across platforms and stays updated on trends and technologies.
• Works with identified vendor to troubleshoot matters associated with the CCPS VLP website, portal, and mobile application and recommends tools.
• Assists faculty with virtual learning capabilities, technical questions, and troubleshooting.
• All other duties, as assigned and required.
