Job summary

LISD is seeking a Virtual School Program Coordinator to lead the district's grades 6–12 Virtual School, ensuring high-quality virtual instruction and student engagement. You will work with teachers, campuses, and families to implement online learning aligned with TEA requirements.

The role requires a Master's degree (preferred), experience with Canvas/Schoology/Google Classroom, and strong leadership, communication, and data analysis skills. A collaborative, district-wide approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred; eligible to evaluate teachers under T-TESS preferred.
• Knowledge of TEA rules and requirements related to virtual and remote instruction.
• Experience with LMS such as Canvas, Schoology, or Google Classroom.
• Strong understanding of instructional technology integration and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the district's grades 6–12 Virtual School Program.
• Collaborate with secondary principals to ensure effective virtual instruction and student success.
• Ensure compliance with state and district policies for virtual instruction.
• Lead professional development focused on virtual teaching and instructional technology.
