ACCEL Schools LLC seeks an Intervention Specialist for our online Ohio program. The role supports students with IEPs, collaborating with teachers to tailor intervention strategies and monitor progress in a self-paced online environment.

Occasional travel for state testing and events is required. Candidates should have experience in inclusive or co-teaching settings, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Experience in full inclusion or Co-Teaching models.
• Comfort with growth-focused coaching via observations, debriefs and progress monitoring.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks.
• Experience in multicultural settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to interpret abilities and disabilities and support intervention strategies.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments.
• Write and implement behavior improvement plans.
• Facilitate IEP meetings and write IEP goals/objectives.
• Work to meet student achievement, culture, and state goals.
• Apply research-based best practices in daily planning and instruction.
• Incorporate culturally responsive teaching practices in daily lessons.
