Qualifications

• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Experience in full-room inclusion or co-teaching in a resource room model.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a growth-focused coaching environment with frequent observations.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with classroom teachers to interpret student abilities and adapt intervention strategies.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction and functional behavior assessments.
• Write and implement behavior improvement plans and IEP goals.
• Facilitate IEP meetings and communicate with families about student progress.
• Support non-instructional activities such as social events and field trips.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
