Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelors in Nursing required within 5 years.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• AHA/ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days.
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months.
• 5 years of critical care experience preferred.
• CCRNs preferred (CRRN, CRRN-K, CRRN-E).

Responsibilities

• Monitor ECG rhythms and heart rate and assess patient status using electronic health records.
• Provide professional nursing care following the nursing process and family-centered care principles.
• Collaborate with care teams and mentor staff on unfamiliar tasks.
• Discharge planning and education; ensure documentation is accurate.
• Support quality improvement and standard-of-practice consistency across the unit.
