Job summary

The Spectrum Health Dearborn Hospital ICU is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide high-acuity care in a 17-bed Surgical ICU. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for critically ill patients with hemodynamic instability.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the care team, documenting education and plans of care, and supporting patient-family centered care under the Nurse Leader. MI RN license and ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years.
• NCLEX licensure required; MI RN license.
• BLS certification required on hire.
• ACLS required within 6 months.
• Specialty certification encouraged within 2 years.
• Direct inpatient care preferred.
• 1 year ICU RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, evaluate, discharge.
• Collaborate with Nurse Leader and care team; involve patient/family goals.
• Document education and learning in the health record; develop plan of care.
• Deliver patient-family centered care and maintain quality outcomes.
