Job summary

The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) is seeking a Virtual Event Coordinator to support virtual and hybrid events and conferences from its Austin HQ. You will help with event platform prep, speaker coordination, live production, and attendee communications for ACFE’s education programs reaching members globally.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure high-quality events, create on-demand content, and analyze post-event feedback to measure success.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years previous experience in a similar role preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

  • Supports planning and execution of virtual and hybrid events under the Virtual Event Manager.
  • Prepares, tests, and reviews the virtual event platform for a smooth live experience.
  • Coordinates with internal teams and external partners for materials and speaker communications.
  • Produces a variety of virtual and hybrid events aligning with ACFE standards.
  • Prepares event recordings and on-demand content for attendees.
  • Gathers post-event feedback and statistics to evaluate success.
  • Responds promptly to inquiries via the Events Department inbox.
  • Supports other departments to ensure consistency across ACFE initiatives.
  • Performs additional duties as required.

Job Location: ACFE Global Headquarters - Austin, TX 78701

Location: Primarily remote, with 1-2 days per week at our downtown Austin, TX office.

The Virtual Event Coordinator supports the execution of ACFE's virtual and hybrid events and conferences. This role assists with event platform preparation, speaker and presentation coordination, live event production, attendee communications, and post-event on-demand content, helping deliver high-quality training and educational experiences to our members. Essential Functions
  • Supports the planning and execution of ACFE virtual and hybrid events under the direction of the Virtual Event Manager.
  • Prepares, reviews, and tests the virtual event platform to ensure a smooth live experience.
  • Coordinates with internal teams and external partners to gather presentation materials and manage speaker communications.
  • Produces a variety of virtual and hybrid events, ensuring content delivery aligns with ACFE standards.
  • Prepares event recordings and materials for on‑demand access.
  • Communicates and evaluates virtual and hybrid post-event feedback and statistics to determine event success.
  • Responds to inquiries received through the Events Department inbox in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provides support to other departments through established communication channels to ensure consistency across ACFE initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as requested or required.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years previous experience in a similar role preferred. Four years of High School resulting in a diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to travel 1-2 times per year.
  • Proven skills in organizing work, attending to detail, managing time effectively, and handling multiple tasks in a timely manner
  • Skilled in collaborating with internal and external resources.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel.
