Job summary

Pepper Construction is looking for qualified, intelligent students with a passion for Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) technology to experience life with a commercial general contractor. You will work directly with many aspects of VDC, including supporting design model coordination, visualization, and learning BIM processes.

You will also be involved in training sessions, jobsite tours and safety.

Qualifications

• Current college student entering Sophomore, Junior or Senior year in Architecture, Virtual Construction Management, Construction Management, Engineering or similar (2026/27 school year).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new technology.
• Ability to work independently while contributing and collaborating in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support design model coordination and visualization using BIM/VDC tools.
• Assist in training sessions and jobsite tours to learn BIM processes.
• Gain hands-on experience with a general contractor in the Indianapolis area.
