Job summary

Pepper Construction Group LLC is seeking motivated students to experience life with a commercial general contractor in the Indianapolis area. You will work with the Preconstruction team, gaining hands-on exposure to take-offs, bid scope sheets, and subcontractor coordination, along with training sessions, site tours and safety activities.

You are a current college student entering Sophomore to Senior year (2026/27) studying Construction Management or a related field.

Qualifications

• Current college student entering Sophomore, Junior or Senior year during the 2026/27 school year studying Construction Management or a similar discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn and apply new technology.
• Ability to work independently while still contributing and collaborating in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation to and from work-related activities and assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in take-offs, bid scope sheets, and subcontractor coordination within the Preconstruction team.
• Participate in training sessions, jobsite tours and safety activities.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Pepper Construction is looking for qualified, intelligent students with a passion for learning about the construction industry to experience life with a commercial general contractor.

Our Preconstruction team supports the activities that occur at the beginning of a project, prior to the start of construction. You will work directly with many aspects of preconstruction, including but not limited to take-offs, bid scope sheets, and subcontractor coordination. You will also be involved in training sessions, jobsite tours and safety. You will gain hands-on experience with a reputable general contractor in the Indianapolis Area.
