Job summary

Pepper Construction Group is seeking qualified, motivated students for a BIM/VDC internship in the Indianapolis area. You will work closely with a team on design model coordination, visualization, and BIM process learning, gaining hands-on experience with a respected general contractor.

Responsibilities include training sessions, site tours, and safety activities, while developing skills in VDC, coordination, and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be a current college student (Sophomore–Senior) in Architecture, Virtual Construction Management, Construction Management or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new software and technology quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design model coordination, visualization, and BIM training.
• Participate in training sessions, jobsite tours, and safety activities.
• Support VDC activities across projects with guidance from team members.
• Contribute to project documentation and coordination tasks as needed.

Position Summary

Pepper Construction is looking for qualified, intelligent students with a passion for Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) technology to experience life with a commercial general contractor. You will work directly with many aspects of VDC, including but not limited to supporting design model coordination, visualization, and learning BIM processes. You will also be involved in training sessions, jobsite tours and safety. You will gain hands-on experience with a reputable general contractor in the Indianapolis Area.

Position Requirements

• Current college student entering their Sophomore, Junior or Senior year studying Architecture, Virtual Construction Management, Construction Management, Engineering or a similar discipline during the 2026/27 school year.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn and apply new technology
• Ability to work independently while still contributing and collaborating in a team
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
• Reliable transportation to and from work-related activities and assignments
