Adolescent Wellness Academy seeks a bilingual English/Spanish therapist to conduct virtual intake assessments for teens aged 13–17 and their families. This contract clinician role is evenings, fully remote, on a 1099 basis, with sessions scheduled Mon–Fri 5–8 PM EST.

You will screen for mental health needs, determine appropriate PHP/IOP placement, and document clinical findings to support admissions. Remote work requires a HIPAA-compliant setup and strong clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Florida licensure as LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT or Florida Registered Intern status.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Experience with adolescents in PHP/IOP or similar settings.
• Ability to conduct crisis, risk, and de-escalation assessments.
• Private home office and reliable internet for telehealth.

Responsabilités

• Complete CALOCUS level-of-care screenings, crisis and suicide risk assessments.
• Identify when higher level of care is needed and coordinate admissions.

Support Our Admissions Team as a Contract Clinician

When a teen is struggling, the first conversation changes everything, and that conversation is yours. Adolescent Wellness Academy is a behavioral health program serving teens across South Florida. We’re looking for a bilingual, Spanish-speaking therapist to partner with us as a contract clinician leading virtual Connection Calls: telehealth intake assessments with adolescents ages 13–17 and their families. On each call you’ll screen for mental health and safety needs and decide whether our Partial Hospitalization (PHP) or Intensive Outpatient (IOP) program fits. Families leave the call ready for care. Our clinicians get a clear clinical picture before day one.

Compensation

• Rate $60 per assessment $35 per assessment
• Includes Call + documentation Call + documentation
• Availability Window Mon–Fri, 5–8 PM EST Mon–Fri, 5–8 PM EST

Calls are scheduled within the availability window, Monday through Friday, based on your availability. You’re paid for every booked assessment, no matter how long it runs.

What You’ll Do

• Lead telehealth intake assessments with teens and their parents or caregivers
• Complete CALOCUS level-of-care screenings, crisis assessments, and suicide risk assessments
• Recognize when a teen needs crisis intervention, escalation, or a higher level of care
• Document clinical findings and coordinate admissions with the Admissions and treatment teams

What You Bring

• Active Florida license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Florida Registered Intern status
• Fluent English and Spanish
• Experience as a counselor, therapist, or clinician working with adolescents in PHP, IOP, or other behavioral health settings
• Skills in crisis assessment, risk assessment, and de-escalation
• A private home office with reliable internet for HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions
• Evening availability within our Mon–Fri, 5–8 PM Eastern window
