Job summary

160 Driving Academy is seeking experienced CDL A drivers to join as Virtual Instructors. You will deliver online classroom instruction to prospective CDL students, guiding them through permit preparation and theory, while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

You will work remotely with a set schedule, earn hourly pay based on experience, and receive a benefits package, training, and opportunities for growth within our nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching drivers or training others.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations is advantageous.
• Experience with virtual instruction platforms.
• CDL training experience preferred.

• Must reside in the state you are applying for or have a residence secured for relocation.
• Valid CDL Class A license with a minimum of 24 months of verified tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Safe driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.
• Strong computer skills, including experience using platforms such as Salesforce, Zoom, Canvas, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage a virtual classroom.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple students in an online environment.
