Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced RN for a remote Virtual Care Nursing role in Virginia Beach. The nurse will provide bedside-level care via video, support admissions/discharges, and educate patients from a centralized hub. Collaboration with bedside nurses is essential to maintain high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate has RN-Associate’s Degree, active compact license, BLS, and 5 years of acute care experience, with Epic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN license with compact/multi-state privileges.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Epic experience preferred but not required at hire.
• NIHSS and ACLS certifications preferred.
• 5 years of recent acute care bedside nursing experience required.
• IMCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual nursing support to patients and collaborate with bedside nurses.
• Perform admissions, discharges, patient teaching, and medication reconciliation.
• Deliver nursing care via video calls from Virtual Care hub call center.
• Support administrative tasks that do not require hands-on care.
• Ensure safe, high-quality patient care and improve workflow and patient experience.
• Collaborate with hospital care team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Assist in workflow improvements and operational efficiency.
