Job summary

Direct Jobs is seeking a Day Shift, full-time Virtual Care Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing care and clinical support from a remote setting. You will assess patients, coordinate care, educate patients, and document accurately using EMR systems.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license, compact license, and at least 3 years of medical/surgical inpatient experience; BLS within 14 days of hire. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the applicable state.
• Compact license required.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience in medical/surgical inpatient nursing.
• BLS within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• The Virtual Care RN provides professional nursing care and clinical support for assigned patients through virtual and remote care platforms.
• Accountable for performing patient assessments, care coordination, patient education, clinical documentation, and ongoing patient monitoring while utilizing EMR and other healthcare technology systems.
• Establishes collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to promote quality outcomes, patient safety, and continuity of care.
• Adheres to organizational policies, professional nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and privacy guidelines to ensure safe, compliant, and patient-centered care in a virtual environment.
