Marshall Health Network is seeking a Virtual Care Patient Service Representative to support our telehealth and virtual care services. This role is the first point of contact for patients seeking virtual care, handling registration, scheduling, and coordinating between patients, providers, and healthcare facilities.

The position is hybrid, combining in-office and remote work based on departmental needs and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls for virtual care and telehealth services.
• Register patients and verify demographic and insurance information.
• Schedule telehealth appointments and assist patients with connecting to virtual visits.
• Provide basic technical support to patients and providers before and during telehealth appointments.
• Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and referring facilities.
• Collect co-pays and accurately enter charges and payments.
• Complete documentation and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Process referrals and send appropriate records to consulting providers.
• Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries, and relay messages appropriately.
• Maintain tracking logs and assist with reporting and billing activities.
• Perform other administrative and customer service duties as assigned.
