Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience in health care patient service with multiple software systems.
• Proficient in EMR, MS Word, spreadsheets and calendaring.
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Strong verbal and written communication in a virtual environment.
• Knowledge of medical records management, terminology and billing practices.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments, send notifications, reminders, and troubleshoot as needed.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls with patients, provider offices, insurers, labs, and others involved in care.
• Prepare, organize, submit, and manage care documentation in EMR and internal tools.
• Support clinicians with prompt responses and attention to detail.
• Communicate empathetically to aid patient health journeys and transitions.
