Job summary

Pomelo Care is a leading virtual medical practice for women and children, expanding its network of birth and full-spectrum doulas to educate and guide families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. This 1099 independent contractor role supports families nationwide with remote and in-person opportunities across Arizona’s Yuma, Maricopa, Cochise and Pinal counties.

You will educate and guide families, maintain documentation, and uphold privacy and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Completed certification and training as a birth and/or full-spectrum doula.
• Experience working as a doula with understanding of pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for diverse families both virtually and in-person.
• Comfortable using telehealth platforms, video conferencing tools, and electronic documentation systems.
• Availability for virtual and in-person work, including evenings and weekends.
• Located in or able to serve Yuma, Maricopa, Cochise and Pinal counties in Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Educate and guide expecting and new families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
• Play a vital role in improving birth outcomes by ensuring families feel supported and empowered.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation for visits and birth support.
• Follow applicable documentation, privacy, quality, and compliance standards for services conducted through Pomelo.
