Minimum Qualifications

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (certified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board)
• Licensed in Missouri

Experience

• Specialized training in applied behavior principles, plan implementation, data collection, behavior interventions, and risk management.
• At least two years’ experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Completion of 10 hours of annual continuing education related to behavior supports.

Responsibilities

• Model and train staff in Positive Behavior Support principles.
• Serve as a member of Interdisciplinary Teams providing behavioral expertise.
• Assess, design, train, monitor, and report on Behavior Plans.
• Conduct behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, and interpret results.
• Provide direct behavioral treatment, including skills training, crisis de-escalation, and coaching.
• Participate in on-call rotation for behavioral issues.
• Monitor restraint use and provide training to reduce it.
• Participate in relevant committees and meet all policy requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and present information effectively.
• Good reasoning skills, judgment, and decision-making abilities.
• Physical ability to participate in crisis management procedures.
• Doctoral or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Proficient data entry skills.
