Job summary

Graduate School USA seeks experienced AI practitioners to teach federal audiences in artificial intelligence governance, ethics, and applied AI. Instructors bring real-world government experience, can explain AI to non-technical learners, and may lead or chair governance discussions.

Formal teaching is welcome but not required; onboarding and curriculum are provided. Live virtual courses with occasional in-person sessions are offered, backed by established GSUSA materials and support.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years in a federal setting with applied AI work is preferred.
• Ability to explain AI concepts to a non-technical federal audience.
• Demonstrated experience briefing leadership or governance bodies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instruction on AI topics to adult learners in live virtual and occasional in-person formats.
• Support instruction with provided materials and keep content up-to-date with policy changes.
• Draw on current federal AI practice to connect course content to learners' real-world challenges.
• Respond promptly to student questions during and outside class sessions.
• Collaborate with curriculum staff to maintain accurate course content.
• Comply with GSUSA policies and participate in onboarding and development.
