Position Title: AI Training SpecialistLocation: Ampcus Office – Chantilly, VA
Position Summary:Ampcus is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced AI Training Specialist to lead the development and delivery of training programs that support the adoption and responsible use of AI technologies across a prominent independent federal agency focused on financial system stability. This role will be critical in enabling workforce readiness for AI-driven transformation, including Agentic AI, Generative AI (GenAI), and traditional AI systems. The specialist will design learning experiences that build technical fluency, promote ethical AI practices, and empower cross-functional teams to leverage AI tools effectively.
Key Responsibilities:Training Program Development- Design and implement comprehensive AI training curricula tailored to various roles (e.g., analysts, engineers, policy staff).
- Develop hands-on workshops, e-learning modules, and documentation covering GenAI, Agentic AI, and traditional AI concepts.
- Create onboarding materials for new users of the enterprise AI platform.
Delivery & Facilitation- Conduct live training sessions, webinars, and interactive labs to build user confidence and capability.
- Facilitate scenario-based learning and use case walkthroughs to demonstrate practical applications of AI tools.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and support for teams adopting AI in their workflows.
Content Management & Updates- Maintain and update training materials to reflect evolving technologies, platform features, and governance policies.
- Collaborate with technical teams to translate complex AI concepts into accessible learning content.
- Monitor learner feedback and performance to continuously improve training effectiveness.
Stakeholder Engagement- Partner with leadership, IT, and HR to align training initiatives with strategic goals and workforce development plans.
- Promote AI literacy and responsible use across the organization through internal campaigns and learning communities.
- Represent the client in inter-agency knowledge-sharing forums and workshops.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Instructional Design, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical training, instructional design, or AI/ML education.
- Strong understanding of GenAI platforms and traditional AI/ML concepts.
- Experience designing and delivering training for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Skills:- Familiarity with Agentic AI systems and multi-agent orchestration.
- Experience in public sector or regulated environments.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional technologies.
- Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and content authoring tools.
