Job summary

Gooseneck Implement in Velva, ND seeks a full-time Virtual Ag Technician to work at the dealership while enrolled in the John Deere Ag Tech Virtual Program through ASU-Beebe. Starting pay is $24/hr, rising to $26/hr in year two, with a comprehensive benefits package.

The role requires attending online coursework while performing hands-on service duties on site. You're expected to perform basic diagnostics and repairs, shadow experienced staff, and maintain safety and documentation standards as

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Meets the admission requirements set by Arkansas State University – Beebe.
• Pursuing AAS Degree in John Deere Tech program.
• Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA while in the program.
• Ability to perform basic repairs using tools following Technical Manual procedures.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in project assignments centered around service-related activities at the dealership.
• Work full-time at the dealer location while attending school online through Arkansas State University—Beebe.
• Shadow personnel to gain experience in the service department.
• Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment and AMS products.
• Participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs for skill development.
• Maintain knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Follow safety rules and complete reports and forms for assignments.
• Account for all time on a timecard and for materials used.
