Job summary

Gooseneck Implement in North Dakota seeks a full-time Virtual Ag Technician who will enroll in the John Deere Ag Tech Virtual Program through Arkansas State University–Beebe. The role requires full-time work at a Gooseneck Implement service location while completing online classes.

During the program you will shadow staff, perform basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment, and participate in AMS product work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Pursuing AAS Degree in John Deere Tech program.
• Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA in the program.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs repeatedly.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in service-related project assignments at the dealership.
• Works full-time at the dealer location while attending online courses.
• Shadows experienced staff to gain service department experience.
• Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment.
• Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of John Deere and competitors.
• Follows safety rules and completes reports and forms.
• Tracks time and materials used on tasks.
