Virtual Account Coordinator is responsible for managing and engaging a portfolio of lubricant-focused customer accounts, ensuring consistent communication and service delivery under the guidance of their manager. The role focuses on driving customer experience through efficient customer interaction strategies, automated tools, and strategic engagement. This position will report to the Senior Manager.
Serve as the primary contact for assigned lubricant Virtual accounts.
Maintain consistent communication through automated tools, phone calls, and email.
Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, or resolving issues to enhance customer satisfaction.
If a customer asks a technical question, you may connect them to the correct internal support person for the answer.
Collaborate with customer service teams to populate and maintain accurate customer contact information in the database.
Monitor and track customer interactions to identify patterns and opportunities.
Determine ways of improving the efficiency of communications to ensure this large group of customers is communicated with in a meaningful and regular way.
Work with customer service to determine when higher-touch engagement is required, escalating accounts as needed.
Align with the customer service team to address day-to-day inquiries and order management efficiently.
Meet or exceed KPIs related to customer interactions and responsiveness.
Track and report on customer utilization, retention and GP performance against targets.
Leverage feedback from customers and internal teams to refine lubricant account engagement strategies.
Contribute to developing and enhancing automated outreach processes.
Four year degree in Business Administration, Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management or similar from a federally accredited university.
A master’s degree may be preferred.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%.
Experience in B2B distribution or similar industries is preferred but not essential.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams.
Experience in sales, account management, or customer service is preferred
Proficiency in Salesforce, Power BI or similar tools and data management systems are greatly preferred
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English are required
Proficiency in French or Spanish are beneficial
Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively is an asset
Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Teams and SharePoint.
