Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) is seeking a Director of Construction Services to lead and grow a CEI program in Virginia.

The role oversees roadway and bridge CEI contracts, ensures compliance with VDOT standards, and strengthens relationships with transportation agencies and local municipalities. You will mentor staff, drive business development, and work with regional leaders to align operations with company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Significant experience with VDOT roadway and bridge construction.
• Experience delivering CEI services for public-sector transportation clients.
• Ability to build, manage, and grow a construction services program.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and expand a Virginia construction services program.
• Oversee CEI services for VDOT and local municipalities.
• Provide executive oversight of roadway and bridge projects.
• Partner with VDOT and public-sector clients.
• Mentor and grow construction management staff in Virginia.
• Support business development including pursuits and proposals.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to align operations with goals.
