Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) seeks Bridge Coatings Inspectors to support various projects across Virginia. The role involves on-site coating inspections for bridges and related structures, with travel between sites and occasional night shifts.

Preference given to candidates with AMPP CIP 2 and SSPC BCI credentials and experience in municipal/transportation projects. GPI is a multi-discipline engineering firm with a 50+ year history, offering competitive benefits including a 401(k), ESOP, and

Qualifications

• Minimum CIP 2 coatings inspector certification and at least 1 year inspecting bridge coating projects.
• Additional certifications including SSPC BCI and SSPC C3 Supervisor are preferred.
• Must be able to read plans and specifications and work with Submittals, procedures and hazardous waste plans.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, accept or reject work per specs or codes and monitor waste materials.
• Prepare daily/weekly inspection reports on conditions, progress, weather, acceptability of work.
• Travel to multiple job sites as needed; some assignments may include night shifts.
