Qualifications

• Active Virginia law license required.
• Ability to analyze cases and negotiate settlements.
• Strong civil litigation knowledge and courtroom procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle litigation from inception to resolution.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• 2/3 days on-site, primarily signing.
• Negotiate settlements and move cases toward resolution.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances; travel as needed.
• Collaborate with staff, clients, and opposing counsel; maintain records.
