The role focuses on civil litigation for creditors' rights with no billable-hour requirements and a base salary with potential for additional settlements. You will handle matters from inception to resolution, draft pleadings, file motions, negotiate settlements, attend hearings, and manage a caseload with support from an experienced team.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia law license.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Solid civil litigation knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with deadlines.
• Proficient with MS Office and legal technology.

Responsibilities

• Handle litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
• 2/3 days on-site, primarily signing.
• Negotiate settlements and move toward efficient resolution of disputed matters.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances throughout your assigned territory (travel expenses reimbursed).
• Partner with internal staff, clients, and opposing counsel to move cases forward effectively and professionally.
• Maintain accurate case records and manage deadlines across multiple matters.
