Aspire Talent Solutions represents a respected law firm in Virginia Beach seeking an Attorney to join its civil litigation team. The role focuses on recoveries and creditors' rights with no billable hour requirements and a competitive base salary plus potential settlements.

You will manage your own caseload, handle filings, participate in hearings, and collaborate with staff to deliver effective client service while traveling within the assigned territory as needed.

Qualifications

• Virginia license to practice law is required.
• Experience analyzing cases and negotiating settlements.
• Strong civil litigation knowledge and courtroom procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prioritize deadlines and manage a high-volume caseload.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and legal technology tools.

Responsabilités

• Manage litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Draft, review, file pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other documents.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances as needed.
• Negotiate settlements to achieve efficient resolutions.
• Collaborate with staff, clients, and opposing counsel to move cases forward.
• Maintain accurate case records and deadlines.
