Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Attorney for a Virginia Beach, VA law firm specializing in recoveries and creditors’ rights.

This role offers no billable hour requirements and a base salary with potential for settlements negotiated by the attorney, plus comprehensive training and strong support. You will independently manage a caseload while collaborating with an experienced legal and administrative team.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia law license required.
• Ability to analyze cases and negotiate settlements.
• Solid understanding of civil litigation practices and courtroom procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prioritize deadlines and manage high-volume caseloads.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms.
• Capable of working independently while collaborating with colleagues.
• Strong analytical abilities, sound judgment, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Handle litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
• 2/3 days on-site, primarily signing.
• Negotiate settlements and move matters toward efficient resolution.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances within assigned territory (travel expenses reimbursed).
• Collaborate with internal staff, clients, and opposing counsel to advance cases.
• Maintain accurate case records and manage deadlines across multiple matters.
