Job summary

RRC Solutions Group seeks an Attorney for its Virginia Beach office to handle civil litigation and creditors' rights matters for financial institutions. The role features no billable hour requirements and a competitive base salary with potential for additional settlements.

You will draft pleadings, manage a caseload independently, sign on-site 2/3 days, negotiate settlements, and appear at hearings, mediations, and court appearances across the territory with travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Virginia.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation practices and courtroom procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and a high-volume caseload.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently while collaborating with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Handle litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
• 2/3 days on-site, primarily signing.
• Negotiate settlements and work toward efficient resolution of disputed matters.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances within assigned territory; travel expenses reimbursed.
• Partner with clients, staff, and opposing counsel to move cases forward professionally.
• Maintain accurate case records and manage deadlines across matters.
