Shown Media LLC, a Madison Avenue–level creative studio, seeks a scriptwriter to craft 90-second launch videos for high-profile founders. You’ll shape narrative from product research, founder story, and aha moments, ensuring every line holds attention.

You’ll own the script through multiple revisions, collaborating with Creative Directors and production teams to ensure visuals align with the text. You bring YouTube scripting and social media know-how to optimize retention.

Qualifications

• Proven experience writing video scripts for YouTube, Technical writing, or similar long-form formats.
• Understanding of retention: hooks, pacing, why people stay.
• Revision-heavy process: feedback is a tool, not a judgment.
• Deep understanding of social media, especially X and LinkedIn.
• Ability to learn a product deeply in 48 hours and write as if years of familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Write video scripts for viral launch campaigns; research the product, understand the founder, and isolate the "aha moment" for a 90-second narrative.
• Revise. Revise again. Then revise once more; this role is 70% revision.
• Collaborate with Creative Directors and the production team so every script translates visually.
• Turn briefs into strong first drafts quickly, then refine until it's right.
• Go deep on each client's product, positioning, and audience to ensure specificity.
