Job summary

The h.wood Group is seeking experienced Hosts for Lady Delilah to join our team in New York. You will be the face of the restaurant, delivering a first-class guest experience with a guest-first attitude, strong service commitment, and excellent communication.

Open availability is preferred; responsibilities include greeting guests, guiding seating, managing reservations, and coordinating with staff to ensure a seamless dining experience. Must be 21+ and able to work in the United States.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a host in a high-volume, fine dining setting.
  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and escort guests to tables in a gracious and professional manner.
  • Interact with guests and staff to ensure an exemplary dining experience.
  • Greet and acknowledge VIPs in a professional manner.
  • Control the flow of guests entering the restaurant and bar.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond with urgency.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment.
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department.
  • Oversee daily restaurant reservations and seating assignments when needed.
  • Communicate special requests and VIP requirements to management.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for the company.
