Job summary

The New York Racing Association (NYRA) is seeking a Premium Hospitality & Guest Experience Specialist to deliver world-class hospitality at Belmont Park and Saratoga. This entry-level role supports race days, events, and premium dining experiences, working with cross-functional teams to ensure memorable experiences.

You will interact with premium members, VIP guests, corporate clients, and racing enthusiasts, building a career in premium guest services and event operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education/experience considered.
• Up to two years of hospitality or high-touch customer environment experience.
• Strong guest service, discretion, professionalism, and follow-through.
• Ability to organize multiple priorities in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for guest and internal partner interactions.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM/ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a professional point of contact for premium guests, members, VIP clients, and corporate partners before, during, and after race-day and special-event experiences.
• Support on-site execution of premium hospitality operations, including guest arrival, seating, dining, and events.
• Coordinate guest requests with cross-functional teams and escalate complex matters appropriately.
• Provide timely service recovery by listening to guest concerns and documenting outcomes.
• Assist with premium dining and event readiness, including signage and amenities.
• Prepare clear, polished guest communications and event updates.
• Gather guest feedback and share insights with management to improve service.
• Maintain accurate member records and service notes per policy.
