Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment in New York, NY is seeking an Event Hospitality Assistant to deliver outstanding service to VIP clients at Barclays Center, greeting guests, guiding them to suites, and handling questions with care.

The role supports the Director, Event Hospitality, requires 1–2 years in customer service within sports/entertainment venues, and requires flexibility to work late nights, weekends, and holidays while maintaining confidentiality and a positive demeanor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or in progress.
• 1–2 years prior customer service experience, preferably in a sports/entertainment venue environment.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and regular in attendance.
• Able to protect the confidentiality/privacy of various parties when privy to sensitive information.
• Must have strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort clients to suites and seating.
• Maintain a cheerful, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests and staff at all times.
• Provide clients with assistance regarding transportation or other needs.
• Protect the integrity of the premium areas by ensuring all guests have a proper ticket/credential.
• Work Barclays Center events as requested by your supervisor.
• Create and deliver gift bags as requested.
• Maintain company confidentiality.
• Provide accurate directions to the various clubs, suites, particular hospitality locations, and all premium areas of the building.
• Respond to guest complaints, questions, and comments with excellent communication.
• Work with Security to ensure VIP guests travel through Barclays Center safely.
• Assist VIP guests who need to move from one location to another.
